The Futrelle sisters are throwing a wedding and the rumor mill in their small town of Fayro, Texas, is working overtime. No surprise there, as the sisters have never been strangers to gossip. Comic chaos reigns supreme when word reaches the church that the bride and groom have fled Fayro and eloped. The Futrelles must ultimately pull together to find ways to keep the unsuspecting guests in the pews, while an incompetent patrolman races off to track down the runaway lovebirds. This warm and riotous comedy was written by two of the same playwrights who penned last season’s audience pleaser, DEARLY DEPARTED.
